About Dauphin County Weather

Hello and welcome to Dauphin County Weather's website! My name is Chris Corrigan, founder and owner of Dauphin County Weather. This coming school year I will be a senior at Central Dauphin High School. I have been a weather enthusiast since the age of 5 or so. I would watch The Weather Channel all the time, back when they would actually show the weather ALL THE TIME. Since then, I have met several people that have influenced me to continue my passion for the weather. By the age of 14, I started to understand meteorology a lot more and had my first access to weather models. I joined several weather groups on Facebook and have talked to pretty big time meteorologists out there. In the Summer of 2014 I decided to make a Facebook page to deliver the weather to the people of Dauphin County, as well as much of the rest of the Lower Susquehanna Valley area. I thought that would be a brilliant idea because of a good friend of mine, who lives in Lebanon County, made a Facebook page Lebanon County Weather in I think 2011. His page inspired me to make my page because of the amount of success his page has had! Some day I hope Dauphin County Weather becomes as successful as his. From this point forward (6/19/2015), I plan on making at least 3 or 4 blogs a week, possibly more, as well as keeping my Facebook page up to date!
